Between 10th and 14th of March 2008, one of the most prestigious food exhibitions in the world, Alimentaria 2008, took place in Barcelona.
Almost 5.000 companies from 70 countries (Belgium, Greece, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, USA, Argentina, Guatemala, Columbia, Panama, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia, India, China, Thailand, etc) exhibited their products on a total surface of 130.000sqm. The estimated number of visitors was 155.000, out of which 33.000 were food specialists.
On a surface of 294sqm, 17 Romanian companies exhibited meat products, wines, bread and milling products, juices and mineral water, fish products, cans and cereals.
For this particular fair, ADS was responsible for designing/projecting the stand, constructing and arranging the stand, renting the pavilion, providing media and marketing services, transporting promotional materials and assisting the Romanian delegation throughout the fair by sending over a company representative.
